Death, Divorce, Desire is a collection of poetry written over the time span of three years, from 2019 - 2022.

The first year, I lost my uncle who was like a father to me. I wrote about grief, processing loss and anger after several years of not writing.

The following year, my partner of 13 years and I separated at the beginning of the Covid 19 pandemic. I also revisited processing the trauma of my childhood abuse and the foster care system in therapy.

The final year of poetry describes rediscovering myself after my divorce, immense loss and grief. I discovered polyamory, new love, relationships and the self I knew I wanted to be.
